Troop 555 was first chartered in 1980. To date, 33 of
our Scouts have achieved the rank of Eagle. |  |

Scout Troop 555 is sponsored by the Penn Forest Township Volunteer Fire Co. #1.
We meet weekly, Tuesday Nights, from
7 PM to 8:30 PM at the Penn Forest Township Volunteer
Fire Co. #1 Fire Hall, located on Star Route 903, Jim
Thorpe. With the exception of Holidays and the first week
of School in September, we meet year round. |
Although there are occasional scheduling conflicts,
we encourage Scouts to be active in sports and other extra-curricular
activities.
Whenever possible, Troop 555
follows the Scouting tradition of having the older Scouts of the Troop educate
the younger Scouts. This enables leadership skills of the older Scouts to flourish,
and promotes a beneficial relationship amongst the entire Troop. |
